New photos emerged this week showing Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce on a romantic getaway to Lake Como, Italy. This afternoon, Page Six published images of the couple kissing during a boat ride on Wednesday.
Swift also took her own photos, asking the boat captain to play photographer. He used Swift’s personal camera to capture tender moments between her and Kelce aboard the boat and on the dock.
The media obviously did not get Swift’s personal photos, but rather those of photographers nearby, who captured Kelce and Swift leaving the Villa Sola Cabiati at the Grand Hotel Tremezzo for their boat excursion. The villa is located directly at the water’s edge.
The couple matched in black outfits. The singer wore a sleeveless A-line black dress and a beige trench coat, while Kelce was dressed in a black-and-white checked sweater with black pants. For accessories, Swift sported Mary Jane shoes and carried a black handbag.
Taylor Swift’s “Tortured Poets” Songs May Be Inspired by Travis Kelce
Fans theorize that certain Swift songs, like “The Alchemy” where she literally uses the phrase “touch down” to describe a rare love, and “The Albatross” which may capture the beginning of their relationship and how they dealt with media pressure, are direct references to Kelce. In “So High School,” Swift unsubtly evokes her feelings for Kelce and their romance worthy of a high school love story.
Although the photos of their Lake Como trip have just been published, Swift is no longer in Italy. She is performing tonight in Stockholm, Sweden, the next stop on the European leg of her Eras Tour.
Swift had finished her concerts in Paris on Sunday before heading to Lake Como with Kelce. He had taken a flight to attend Swift’s final Paris show.
On his podcast, “New Heights,” Kelce expressed his excitement after seeing Swift perform for the fifth time. He has attended her performances in Kansas City, Argentina, Australia, Singapore, and now Paris.
“I mean, I don’t know if they’re just getting better or if I just keep forgetting how they are,” Kelce said. “It was electric in there, and I’ll tell you what? Kansas City showed out. Argentina was unbelievable. Australia, they partied with the best of them, and they celebrate with the best of them. Those three were unbelievable. Singapore was so unique and so fun. And then Paris was just, it was on a whole other level, man.”
“And I’m just happy for everyone in the Eras Tour who performs, from the dancers to the band and obviously Taylor, it just looks like they’re having so much fun up there, and they put on a show you won’t see anywhere else,” he added.
